Whether it's a single-family home or a commercial site, the approach is the same — a site visit, a clear scope, and work that holds up.

Service area

What areas near Sarasota do you serve?

We serve Sarasota, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lakewood Ranch, and the surrounding communities along Florida's Gulf Coast. If you're unsure whether we cover your neighborhood, give us a call or send a message and we'll confirm quickly.

Pricing & estimates

Do you offer free estimates or consultations?

Yes. We offer free on-site consultations where we walk the property with you, identify what needs to be done, and put together a clear scope and price before any work starts. There's no obligation and no cost to get an estimate.

How is lawn maintenance priced?

Lawn maintenance is priced based on property size, how often service is scheduled, and what the work involves — mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and any additional tasks. We give you a flat monthly rate so there are no surprises and you know exactly what to budget.

Plants & lawn care

What types of grass work best in the Sarasota area?

St. Augustine, Zoysia, and Bahia are the most common choices in Southwest Florida. St. Augustine handles shade and summer heat well and is popular for residential lawns. Zoysia is dense, drought-tolerant once established, and holds up well in high-traffic areas. Bahia is low-maintenance and thrives in full sun with minimal irrigation.

The right choice depends on your property's sun exposure, irrigation setup, and how the lawn is used. We'll recommend the best fit during the site visit.

Do you recommend native or Florida-friendly plants?

When it makes sense for the design, yes. Native and Florida-friendly plants are better suited to Sarasota's heat, seasonal rain, and occasional drought. They generally require less water, fewer pesticides, and less intervention over time.

We factor that into our recommendations — but we'll also work with what you prefer aesthetically. The goal is a landscape that holds up here long-term, not a checklist.

How often should I water my lawn in Sarasota?

During the dry season (roughly November through May), most lawns in Sarasota need about two watering sessions per week. During the rainy season, natural rainfall usually handles most of the work and you can cut back significantly — overwatering in summer is a common cause of fungal problems.

The right schedule also depends on your soil, grass type, and irrigation coverage. Watering at dawn reduces evaporation and helps prevent disease. If your lawn has consistently dry or wet spots, that usually points to an irrigation adjustment.

Process & scheduling

How long does it take to get started after I reach out?

We typically respond to new inquiries within one business day and can usually schedule a site visit within the week. From there, timing depends on project scope and our current schedule. Routine maintenance usually starts quickly. Larger design and installation projects are scheduled once the estimate is reviewed and approved.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance contracts?

Yes. We offer year-round maintenance agreements for homeowners who want reliable, scheduled service without coordinating each visit separately. These cover regular mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup on a consistent schedule through every season — including summer when growth picks up and winter when the property still needs attention.

What happens if there's an issue with the work?

Call or message us and we'll address it promptly. We stand behind the work and would rather fix a problem quickly than have a client sit with something they're not happy with. Clear communication is part of how we operate.

Specific services

What does a landscape design include?

Our landscape design process starts with a site visit to understand the property, existing conditions, sun exposure, drainage, and your goals. From there we develop a planting plan and layout that accounts for mature growth, irrigation zones, and long-term upkeep.

The plan is installation-ready. We can handle the full install, or hand it off if you're working with another crew. Either way, you have something concrete to build from rather than a vague concept.

Can you fix an existing irrigation system, or only install new ones?

Both. We service, repair, and upgrade existing systems — checking coverage, fixing broken heads, adjusting zones, and resolving pressure or timer issues. We also design and install new systems from scratch.

If your lawn has dry patches, soggy spots, or the system just isn't keeping up, that's usually worth a look. Small irrigation problems tend to get worse and often damage plantings over time.

Do you install artificial turf?

Yes. We install synthetic turf with proper base preparation and drainage suited to Florida's heavy rain and direct sun. It's a practical option for areas with heavy foot traffic, persistent shade problems, or properties looking for a low-maintenance alternative to natural grass.

We'll walk the area first to make sure the grade and drainage are set up correctly before any turf goes down.

Do you install low-voltage landscape lighting?

Yes. We design and install low-voltage lighting systems including path lights, palm uplighting, architectural accent lighting, and outdoor living area lighting. A well-designed lighting plan extends how the property is used in the evening and adds security without looking harsh or overdone.
